12:20 PM EDT, 05/08/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Effnetplattformen Holding (EFFH.ST) unit Effnet entered a strategic agreement with an undisclosed major satellite operator for the evaluation phase of its 5G non-terrestrial network.

The operator will deploy Effnet's 5G NTN technology on its satellite payload in an operational environment as part of an evaluation program assessing its capabilities in broadband connectivity, mobility services, and mission-critical communications, the digital communications and investments company said in a Friday release.

The parties expect to proceed with a subsequent commercial deployment of the technology, following a successful evaluation.
