NCC’s Annual and Sustainability Report for 2024 has been published

NCC’s Annual and Sustainability Report for 2024 is now available. The year was marked by stability and strong earnings growth.

“NCC reported strong earnings growth in 2024, and a very strong financial position. Through careful choices and the positive effects of long-term improvement activities, we have been able to demonstrate progress in many areas,” says Tomas Carlsson, President and CEO of NCC.

Sales increased to approximately SEK 62 bn and orders received was healthy at approximately SEK 55 bn, especially in the segments where NCC has specialist expertise in such areas as water treatment, hospitals and energy solutions. Operating profit was higher year-on-year, totaling approximately SEK 2 bn. For the second consecutive year, NCC achieved its financial target of SEK 16 in earnings per share.

Climate target achieved
A multi-year venture to convert to biofuel at NCC’s asphalt plants resulted in the Group achieving one of its two climate targets during the year. NCC has therefore decided to raise the original target, from a 60-percent to a 75-percent reduction in own emissions by 2030. Efforts to reduce emissions across the value chain (Scope 3) are also continuing. NCC’s target of becoming climate-neutral by 2045 holds firm.

This year, NCC made great strides toward reporting in accordance with the CSRD, in order to fully implement the reporting standard in the Annual and Sustainability Report for 2025.
