Seamless Distribution Systems AB (publ) ("SDS") has received a new order from an existing telecom customer, a leading mobile operator in Nigeria. The product license is worth SEK 8 million.
The order includes an upgrade to ERS 5, SDS's latest platform generation for the sale and distribution of digital products, as well as the implementation of an Active Disaster Recovery solution that ensures continuous operation in the event of disruptions. Associated professional services are included and revenues are reported on an ongoing basis in line with delivery.
After a comprehensive improvement in efficiency, SDS covers its total operating costs with recurring revenue from customer support. This means that all new product agreements during the year will have a direct positive effect on the company's profit and cash flow.
This is the fifth upgrade order for ERS 5 that the company has won this year, reflecting the increasing demand from SDS's existing customers to transition to the company's latest platform generation. With a globally installed base of telecom operators using previous generations of SDS's platform, SDS is positioned for additional product licenses and services from the company's existing customer base.
"This agreement reinforces the strong demand we see for platform upgrades from our existing customer base and as operators continue to invest in modernization, it gives us great opportunities to deliver additional value over time. This order confirms and strengthens our goal to deliver a substantial profit improvement in 2026." comments Martin Schedin, CEO.
