Homann Holzwerkstoffe provides business update and confirms outlook for 2026 Munich, November 4, 2026 – Homann Holzwerkstoffe GmbH, one of Europe’s leading suppliers of thin, refined wood fibreboards for the furniture, door and coating industries, provides an update on its current business development and the implementation of the previously announced measures at its Lithuanian production site in Pagiriai. The Group reported positive business development in the third quarter of 2026, with operating performance developing in line with management expectations. Revenues in Q3 were above the prior-year level, while EBITDA adjusted was clearly positive and significantly above the H1 2026 level. At the same time, the Group recorded a significant improvement in operating cash flow in Q3. Demand for MDF/HDF boards showed signs of improvement during the quarter, while the price increases implemented during the year increasingly took effect. Overall, the third-quarter development confirms the expected trajectory for the second half of the year. Against this backdrop, management confirms the full-year outlook for 2026 as adjusted in August. At the Group’s Lithuanian production site in Pagiriai, the previously announced capacity adjustment is progressing according to plan. The site is expected to reach freeze status by year-end 2026, in line with the timeline announced in August 2026. As previously communicated, Homann Holzwerkstoffe expects an operating loss from its Lithuanian operations of approximately EUR 23 million in 2026. Following the measures implemented at the site and the transition into freeze status, this negative contribution is expected to decrease significantly to approximately EUR 3 million in 2027. The substantially lower expected burden from Lithuania, together with the stabilisation of the underlying business, is expected to provide a significantly improved basis for the Group entering 2027.
