MEKO is changing the planned appointment of Mikael Bjørnskov as Managing Director of the company’s Danish operations. The decision means that the process of recruiting a new manager will resume.
On May 7, MEKO announced that Mikael Bjørnskov would assume the role of head of MEKO’s Danish operations no later than August 1.
The parties have since then reassessed the conditions for carrying out the assignment. Following this, Mikael Bjørnskov has decided to withdraw his candidature as Managing Director for MEKO’s operations in Denmark.
As a result, the process of recruiting a new manager will resume. During this period, Andrew Long will continue as acting Managing Director, a role he has held since December 2025.
