As communicated in a press release in March 2023, Ortivus entered into an agreement with the Estonian Health Insurance Fund, Tervisekassa, under which Ortivus, together with Telia Eesti AS, was to develop and deliver a SaaS-based solution including MobiMed ePR to Estonia’s national ambulance fleet. The contract covered a period of five years with an estimated order value of approximately 26 MSEK.
Due to the complexity of the project and delays in the timeline, the involved parties have, after joint discussions, mutually agreed to terminate the collaboration. As a result of the termination, Ortivus will reimburse Telia Eesti with an amount of EUR 375,000 (SEK 4,121 thousand) at the end of Q3 2025, representing part of the fees previously invoiced by Ortivus during the course of the project. As a consequence, Ortivus’ result for Q2 2025 will be impacted by SEK 5,121 thousand, which also includes previously recognized profit of approximately SEK 1 million.
“For Ortivus, the collaboration with Tervisekassa and Telia Eesti was a valuable opportunity to support the development of ambulance services in Estonia. The decision to terminate the project was taken jointly, as it became clear that the complexity of the initiative made it unlikely to meet expectations. Overall, we value the constructive cooperation that has taken place throughout the entire process,” said Gustaf Nordenhök, CEO of Ortivus AB.
