06:02 AM EDT, 05/12/2026 (MT Newswires) -- UniCredit (UCG.MI) is preparing significant risk transfers tied to company loans for two Spanish banks and its German unit, Bloomberg News reported Tuesday, citing people familiar with the matter.

The Italian banking group's transactions include 2 billion euros of CaixaBank's (CABK.MC) loans to companies, 1.25 billion euros of Banco de Sabadell's (SAB.MC) loans to small- and medium-sized enterprises, and 3.5 billion euros of the German subsidiary's loans to large corporations, according to the report.

UniCredit, CaixaBank, and Banco de Sabadell did not immediately respond to requests for comment from MT Newswires.
