05:40 AM EDT, 05/12/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Nokia (NOK) said Tuesday it introduced new agentic artificial intelligence capabilities for its fixed network product lines to improve operational efficiency for home and broadband networks.

The new agentic AI added to broadband platforms aims to automate network diagnostics, lower operational costs, and speed up fiber deployments, the company said.

The software is designed to independently identify the root cause of network faults, cutting repeat construction site visits by half and boosting first-call resolution rates above 50%, Nokia said.

The system features a conversational assistant to aid customer support teams alongside computer vision technology to help field technicians validate installation quality while using their preferred large language models and external data sources, it said.

Shares of the company were down 2.1% in Tuesday premarket activity.
