02:47 AM EDT, 05/11/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Tenaga Nasional (KLSE:TENAGA) unit TNB Kuala Muda Solar issued 1.05 billion ringgit through an ASEAN Green SRI Sukuk Wakalah, according to a Friday Malaysian bourse filing.

The proceeds will fund a 500 megawatt alternating current solar photovoltaic project in Kedah, Malaysia.

The sukuk was issued in 17 tranches ranging from 3 to 19 years, with profit rates between 3.65% and 4.37%.

Maybank Investment Bank and CIMB Investment Bank acted as joint advisers and lead arrangers for the issuance, the filing said.
