Apollo Global Management (APO) said Monday its managed investment funds agreed to purchase the automotive interiors unit of Forvia in a carve-out transaction.

The transaction gives the Forvia Interiors business an enterprise value of 1.82 billion euros ($2.14 billion). Forvia said in a separate statement.

The business produces vehicle cabin equipment, including center consoles, door panels, and instrument dashboards for original equipment manufacturers, Apollo said.

The agreement remains subject to customary closing requirements, including regulatory clearances and workforce representative consultations ahead of an anticipated closing in H2, it said.
