Inderes has started producing summarized translations of its equity research content into Swedish and Finnish. The translations are published immediately upon the publication of the original content and will initially cover the front pages of the research reports, as well as analyst comments.

Democratizing investor information is at the core of Inderes’ business. In equity research, this requires presenting complex financial information in plain language and an easily understandable way, which is easiest in the investor's native language.

“Measured by the number of companies covered by our analysts, Inderes is already the largest open equity research service in the Nordics. However, the limitation of content languages to Finnish and English has made our research less accessible, especially outside Finland. We believe that the wider availability of content in local languages improves our service to investors, especially internationally, but also in Finland. When the research serves investors better, its value is also higher for the covered company,” says Antti Luiro, who leads the internationalization of Inderes’ Equity Research Business.

In the first phase, translations are available in Swedish and Finnish. In addition, Inderes’ morning review will include translated content on international companies.

“As part of the internationalization of our Equity Research Business, we are continuously developing our service to be more multilingual, thereby aiming to strengthen its network effects across national borders. In addition to expanding the availability of research translations, we are also exploring ways to offer the morning review, our investor forum, and video and audio content in new languages," Antti Luiro adds.

The scalable translation technology developed by Inderes is based on commercial language models, as well as the expertise of the company's analysts and translators in equity analysis, investing, and industry-specific terminology.
