Puuilo opens a store in Hollola

Puuilo will open a new store in Hollola during the first quarter of 2026. The store, approximately 3,000 m² in size, follows the current concept of the chain and will be located on Terveystie, near Lidl and Tokmanni. The store will employ 13 − 14 people upon opening, with recruitment starting this fall.

Puuilo's CEO, Juha Saarela, sees Hollola and its surrounding area as a potential region for Puuilo. "The market area of Lahti and its surroundings can accommodate a new store in addition to the existing Puuilo in Renkomäki, Lahti. Hollola itself is already a commercially viable city, but the new store will also serve customers coming from the west of the area, such as from Lammi and Hämeenkoski."

Puuilo's growth continues according to the company's strategy. During this financial year, Puuilo has opened stores in Varkaus, Savonlinna, Lohja, and Mäntsälä. In addition, openings will be celebrated in Jyväskylä's Keljo in June and in Iisalmi later this year. Additionally, the company has announced that it will open stores in Heinola and Espoonlahti in 2026.
