Joakim Nilsson, currently managing director of Swedenborg, will take over as the new managing director of Autofric after Jan Åslund, who is now retiring. The new managing director of Swedenborg will be Cristian Haugsnes.

"Joakim Nilsson sowed the first seed for the acquisition discussion regarding Autofric and knows both the company and its industries very well. He has successfully developed Swedenborg and we look forward to an exciting future for Autofric with Joakim at the helm.", comments Caroline Reuterskiöld, CEO of Berner Industrier.

"Jan has, together with stellar colleagues, built a fantastic business in Hagfors and I am proud to have been entrusted with managing it further," says Joakim Nilsson, incoming managing director of Autofric.

Joakim Nilsson has had a successful journey as the MD of the subsidiary Swedenborg and we are therefore pleased to announce that Cristian Haugsnes has agreed to step in as the new MD of Swedenborg. Cristian is an engineer from Chalmers University of Technology in Göteborg and has a long experience from leadership and technology from among other things, the process industry. That also means that he already has a good understanding of the business of Swedenborg.

"Cristian has a nice combination of technical curiosity and drive, and we think that he will be a good match with the successful, committed, and great team in Swedenborg," says Caroline Reuterskiöld.

Joakim will assume the position as MD of Autofric in September, and Cristian will take up the position as MD of Swedenborg during October.
