The Board of Directors of BlueYield AB ("BlueYield" or the "Company") proposes an extraordinary dividend of SEK 11.50 per share, corresponding to a total of SEK 36,800,000, to be resolved at an extraordinary general meeting on 5 November 2026
The Board of Directors of BlueYield proposes that the extraordinary general meeting on 5 November 2026 resolve on a dividend of SEK 36,800,000. The dividend is to be paid out of unrestricted equity according to the most recently adopted balance sheet as of 2025-12-31, which amounts to SEK 295,642,292, of which the following is available for distribution:
Item | Amount, SEK |
Other contributed capital | 299,660,027 |
Profit for the year incl. retained earnings | -4,017,735 |
Total unrestricted equity | 295,642,292 |
Previously resolved dividend (annual general meeting 14 April 2026) | 30,400,000 |
Remaining distributable amount | 265,242,292 |
Proposed extraordinary dividend | 36,800,000 |
Remaining after dividend, carried forward | 228,442,292 |
The notice of the extraordinary general meeting will be published at the beginning of next week.
Since our listing in June 2025, our strategy has been clear: to acquire, hold and divest maritime assets with discipline, and to return capital to our shareholders when the portfolio delivers. The proposed extraordinary dividend of SEK 11.50 per share is a direct result of that strategy. This reflects the strong performance of the portfolio and our solid liquidity position.
Including the SEK 9.50 per share paid in April, total distributions to our shareholders in 2026 will amount to SEK 21.00 per share, corresponding to a total dividend yield of 21% on our IPO share price, or 14% annualised since the IPO, thereby achieving the target of 12-14% set out in the Information Memorandum. The extraordinary dividend alone corresponds to a dividend yield of approximately 11% on our net asset value per share as of 30 June 2026. At the same time, we retain the financial capacity to act on new opportunities, and our capital allocation remains guided by risk-adjusted return potential.
"We believe that a consistent track record of transparent reporting, disciplined investments and real cash distributions is the best way to build long-term trust in BlueYield and to ensure that our share price reflects the value we create," says Jonas Kamstedt, CEO of BlueYield.
