Majority of CLS Board and Key Executive Management Commit to Invest in the Company’s Rights Issue
Clinical Laserthermia Systems AB (publ) ("CLS" or the "Company") today announces that a majority of the members of its Board of Directors, together with key members of executive management, have entered into subscription commitments amounting to approximately SEK 0.65 million in the Company’s ongoing rights issue of units. The commitments reflect a confidence in CLS and its commercial strategy and represent both new investments and increased shareholdings in the Company.
The subscription commitments from the Board of Directors and executive management are in addition to the subscription commitments previously announced by certain existing shareholders and further strengthen the support for the rights issue.
The commitments are broadly distributed between the Board of Directors and executive management, demonstrating a shared belief that CLS has reached an important stage in its commercial development. The largest new investment among the Board members is made by Chairman Peter Max, who has committed SEK 0.2 million.
Consequently, the Company has now received aggregate subscription commitments of approximately SEK 6.65 million, corresponding to approximately 16.8 per cent of the rights issue, before guarantee commitments.
The subscription commitments have been entered into on the same terms as those applicable to all investors participating in the rights issue. The subscription period runs from 4 August 2026 up to and including 18 August 2026.
“The broad commitment made by our Board of Directors and executive management reflects a shared confidence in CLS, our commercial strategy and the opportunities ahead. Together with the subscription commitments already received from existing shareholders, it provides further support for the rights issue and our ambition to accelerate the commercialization of the ClearPoint Prism portfolio while continuing to expand our technology platform into additional clinical applications. We appreciate the confidence shown in CLS as we continue executing our strategy,” comments Dan J. Mogren, CEO of CLS.
