RaySearch Laboratories AB (publ) today announces the release of RayCare v2026, the latest version of its oncology information system. The new release introduces enhanced workflow visualization, improved interoperability, strengthened data security, and new capabilities for coordination, further supporting efficient and integrated cancer care.
Workflow and coordination improvements
RayCare v2026 introduces a new workflow timeline, providing a timeline-based visualization of tasks directly within the patient chart. This new view presents clinical activities in a clearer and more intuitive way, with a better overview of ongoing and upcoming tasks. Improvements to several workspaces, including the image viewer and scheduling interfaces, enhance usability and provide more efficient access to information and tools for daily clinical work.
Improved data security and interoperability
RayCare v2026 builds on an already strong security foundation by introducing encrypted DICOM communication between RayCare and RayStation, and extending support to treatment delivery devices that implement DICOM encryption, supporting evolving cybersecurity requirements across connected systems.
Platform development and automation
RayCare v2026 is designed to support ongoing expansion of interoperability and integration across the radiotherapy ecosystem. The release also introduces a standardized interface for treatment delivery devices. This enables integration with a broader range of systems, as vendors implement the same support, providing a scalable foundation for future connectivity and more flexible clinical environments.
The release includes improvements to scripting capabilities and system configuration, supporting automation of workflows and enabling clinics to adapt the system to their specific needs.
“With RayCare v2026, we continue to advance our vision of a fully integrated and comprehensive oncology information system,” says Johan Löf, founder and CEO of RaySearch. “The new capabilities improve usability, connectivity, and security across clinical workflows, helping cancer centers deliver coordinated, efficient, and patient-centered care.”
