Skanska reconstructs 14 km motorway section near Prague, Czechia for CZK 757M, about SEK 340M

Skanska has signed a contract with National Highway Authority of the Czech Republic to repair a part of D11 motorway near Prague, Czechia. The contract is worth CZK 757M, about SEK 340M, which will be included in the order bookings for Skanska Central Europe for the third quarter of 2026.

The project covers the full reconstruction of more than 14 kilometers of motorway, including pavement replacement, interchange ramps, the rest area, telematics, and safety features.

Works will include replacing the road structure, upgrading drainage and monitoring systems, renewing barriers, and other roadside infrastructure.

Work will start in August 2026, with completion scheduled for November 2026.
