07:47 AM EDT, 05/04/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Mako Mining (MKO.V) reported Monday the "most significant"drill results to date from San Albino project in Nicaragua over the company's past six years of mining.

Results include 26.98 grams per tonne (g/t) gold and 48.4 g/t silver over 7.0 m, and 21.79 g/t gold and 23.0 g/t silver over 5.0 m.

Current drilling extended mineralization over 450 m along strike and remains open to the southwest and down dip to the northwest, Mako said.

The results also showed strong gold grade and structural continuity, which support potential for pit expansion, Mako said.

The company plans to begin development to the southwest of the Candelaria fault once rainy season ends in the fourth quarter.
