Cabonline awarded three school transport contracts in Bergen
Cabonline has been awarded three new school transport contracts in Bergen. The agreements expand the geographical reach and cover nearly 300 children.
The award covers three contracts from Skyss and Vestland County Municipality, including dedicated school transport in Bergen North, as well as both standard and dedicated school transport in Bergenhus and Årstad.
– This assignment gives us the opportunity to further develop our services and ensure accessibility for pupils in Bergen. Dedicated school transport places high demands on quality, and we are committed to creating safety and predictability for both pupils and families, says Erik Moberg, Head of B2P and B2B Solutions at Cabonline Group.
The new contracts introduce an area structure that gives Cabonline a more integrated responsibility in parts of Bergen where the company already has significant operations in patient transport, particularly in Bergenhus and Årstad.
– This is an important award for us in Bergen. The new area structure allows us to utilise our resources even more efficiently, especially in areas where we already deliver patient transport. It creates stability and predictability for transporters and drivers, and supports the delivery of a safe and reliable service for children, says Line Rå, Regional Manager at Cabonline Norway AS.
The award follows a public procurement process in which bids were evaluated based on both price and quality. The contracts will commence on 1 August 2026 and run until 31 July 2028, with options for extension of one year at a time for up to four additional years (maximum total duration of six years).
