ZEAL launches new charity lottery "freiheit+" to support educational projects

(Hamburg, 9 March 2020) ZEAL Network SE (Lotto24.de, Tipp24.com), Germany's leading online provider of state-licensed lottery products, has launched the new charity lottery "freiheit+" together with BildungsChancen gGmbH for the promotion of educational projects. Via the website Freiheitplus.de, participants have the chance to win a combined main prize every week of EUR 5,000 per month for 15 years plus an additional immediate payment of EUR 250,000. The non-profit organisation BildungsChancen gGmbH is owned by "Stifterverband für die Deutsche Wissenschaft" (a joint initiative started by German companies and foundations to promote improvements in the fields of education, science and innovation), the "SOS Children's Villages Worldwide" and "Deutsche Kinder- und Jugendstiftung" (The German Children and Youth Foundation - DKJS). 50 cents of every lottery ticket field sold goes to non-profit educational projects.

Simple game principle and high chances

freiheit+ is a number lottery in which the player selects seven numbers between 1 and 35. If at least three numbers match the winning numbers, a prize is paid out. The probability of winning the main prize of freiheit+ is 21 times higher than with the German lottery "Lotto 6aus49" - every eighth ticket is also a prize. In a first step, the charity lottery will be offered via the lottery portal Tipp24.com and later also integrated into Lotto24.de. The draw takes place every Monday at 12:00 and the deadline for submitting tickets is 11:30.
