11:20 AM EDT, 05/13/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Airbus (AIR.PA, AIR.F) and Blackstone are reportedly in discussions to become key investors in an upcoming funding round for Quantum Systems that could value the German drone startup at up to 7 billion euros.

Bloomberg News reported Wednesday, citing people familiar with the matter, that the transaction is expected to raise 600 million euros through primary fundraising and the sale of existing stock. British venture capital firm Balderton Capital is also considering participating in the round, the sources added.

Talks are ongoing and the transaction's terms could still change, according to the report.

Airbus, Blackstone, Balderton Capital, and Quantum Systems did not immediately respond to requests for comment from MT Newswires.
