EQT Raises Final Takeover Proposal for Intertek

03:02 AM EDT, 05/12/2026 (MT Newswires) -- EQT (EQT.ST) further raised its indicative offer for British assurance, testing, and certification company Intertek Group (ITRK.L) to 61.077 pounds sterling per share, according to a Tuesday filing.
The Swedish private equity company's final proposal comprises 60 pounds per share in cash plus Intertek's final dividend for full-year 2025 of up to 1.077 pounds per share. Intertek rejected EQT's previous 58-pound-per-share bid on May 8.
EQT, which has until May 14 to make a firm offer or walk away, said the final offer delivers a "certain and accelerated"cash value for Intertek shareholders.
