From continental Europe, the gainers were led by telecommunications company Nokia (NOK) and biotech firm Evaxion (EVAX), which rose 4.1% and 3.9% respectively. They were followed by pharmaceutical company Ascendis Pharma (ASND) and accommodations booking site trivago (TRVG), which were up 0.5% and 0.3% respectively.
The decliners from continental Europe were led by software firm SAP (SAP) and medical device maker EDAP TMS (EDAP), which dropped 4.8% and 4.7% respectively. They were followed by biopharmaceutical company DBV Technologies (DBVT) and furniture maker Natuzzi (NTZ), which lost 1.9% and 1.8% respectively.
The gainers from the UK were led by biopharmaceutical company Akari Therapeutics (AKTX) and biotech firm Autolus Therapeutics (AUTL), which rose 11% and 4.7% respectively. They were followed by mining company BHP Group (BHP) and telecommunications operator Vodafone Group (VOD), which were up 2.7% and 2.2% respectively.
