09:59 AM EDT, 04/27/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Intel (INTC) has launched an investment-grade bond sale to help finance its $14.2 billion plan to regain full ownership of its Irish chip manufacturing facility, Bloomberg reported Monday, citing a person familiar with the matter.

Intel didn't immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires.

Intel said in early April that it plans to take on about $6.5 billion in new debt to support the repurchase of a 49% stake in its Fab 34 joint venture in Ireland.

Shares of Intel were up almost 4% in early Monday trading.
