06:27 AM EDT, 05/13/2026 (MT Newswires) -- McDonald's (MCD) said Wednesday that it has signed a landmark naming rights partnership with Chicago Fire FC, with the club's new $750 million stadium set to be called McDonald's Park when it opens in 2028.
The riverfront venue, located in Chicago's The 78 district, will host MLS matches, concerts and year-round events, positioning itself as a major sports and entertainment hub, McDonald's said.
The deal marks McDonald's first-ever naming rights partnership for a professional sports stadium in the US, the company said.
The company added that it plans to integrate its brand deeply into the venue, including a flagship restaurant and fan-focused experiences across the stadium.
Financial details of the partnership were not disclosed.
