On Semiconductor to Support Nio's Transition to 900V EV Platforms Under Expanded Collaboration

05:35 AM EDT, 04/27/2026 (MT Newswires) -- On Semiconductor (ON) will support Nio's (NIO) transition to 900V electric vehicle platforms from 400V architectures through an expanded collaboration, On Semiconductor said Monday.
The partnership uses On Semiconductor's EliteSiC technology in Nio's latest EV lineup, including its latest flagship sport-utility vehicle, the ES9, and other models introduced at the 2026 Beijing Auto Show.
Nio shares were up 2.5% in premarket activity, while On Semiconductor rose 0.4%.
