09:12 AM EDT, 05/04/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Consumer stocks were leaning lower pre-bell Monday, with the State Street Consumer Staples Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLP) and State Street Consumer Discretionary Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLY) declining by 0.1%.

GameStop (GME) said it submitted a non-binding proposal to acquire all outstanding shares of eBay (EBAY) for $125 each. Shares of eBay were up more than 6% and GameStop stock was down more than 5% premarket.

Tyson Foods (TSN) shares were up more than 1% after the company reported fiscal Q2 adjusted net income and sales that topped analysts'estimates.

Norwegian Cruise Line (NCLH) stock was down more than 6% after the company issued Q2 adjusted earnings outlook below analysts'expectations and cut its 2026 adjusted EPS guidance.
