04:18 AM EDT, 05/19/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Berenberg boosted its price target and earnings assumptions for Technoprobe (TPRO.MI) to account for the probe cards manufacturer's first-quarter earnings alongside accelerated and upgraded financial targets.

"Technoprobe's Q1 2026 results, published on 14 May, are likely to go down in the company's history, as a new upgrade in the guidance sent shares up by 32% to an all-time high. Specifically, after moving its original mid-term targets forward by one year on 10 November, Technoprobe announced that it is not only increasing its 2027 targets, but also bringing them forward to 2026. The magnitude of this upgraded guidance implies a new 2026 EBITDA target that is 63% above the consensus projection prior to these results. During the Q1 results call, Technoprobe's management sounded open about the possibility of further increasing its production capacity in the coming quarters, as demand remains buoyant. What is most surprising is that the increased guidance does not incorporate any pick-up in revenues from the memory market, where the company still expects to generate not more than USD10m revenue by year-end,"according to a Monday note.

Technoprobe's accelerated new targets include 2026 revenue growth of between 950 million euros and 1.05 billion euros, compared with the earlier guidance of 850 million euros to 900 million euros. The company now also expects the year's EBITDA margin to come in between 44% and 46%, against the previous outlook of 38% to 40%.

After reporting a 19% annual increase in first-quarter sales to 187 million euros, the company forecasts second-quarter revenue of 266 million euros, which the research firm noted signals a sequential acceleration of 42% on a quarterly basis. "The increased efficiencies and operating leverage should result also in a material jump in the EBITDA margin to 45%,"the note said.

Accordingly, Berenberg raised its price target to 22.50 euros from 11.50 euros, with an unchanged hold rating. Analysts also boosted their EPS projections for full-year 2026 and 2027 by 81% and 77%, respectively, along with upward revisions to sales and EBIT estimates for the same period.
