After a bruising stretch for the segment, sentiment shifted meaningfully post Q1, nearly every company in our index posted a positive return since the last report, a near-perfect reversal of the prior edition. Two portfolio companies received acquisition bids, and May recorded the highest single-month trading volumes on First North since October 2025. Whether this marks a genuine turn or a warm spell remains, as ever, unclear, but the mood has changed.
