Anders Kvist has decided to step down from his position as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Deputy CEO of Kungsleden after close to six years. After the summer, he will take up a position as senior advisor to the Director-General of the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority (Finansinspektionen). ”Leaving Kungsleden has not been an easy decision” says Anders Kvist. ”It has been very rewarding to work with Biljana Pehrsson and all other colleagues with the transformation of Kungsleden. The company now has an attractive property potfolio and a solid balance sheet. I am convinced that Kungsleden’s strategy is the right one and that the company has all the prerequisites for achieving good results. My motives for leaving Kungsleden have to do with a personal desire to use my experience from the financial markets to contribute to a more stable and better financial system in Sweden”, says Anders Kvist. ”Anders Kvist has played a decisive role in Kungsleden’s transformation over the past six years. It is very sad for us that Anders should leave but he has formed a strong finance and treasury function that now stands ready to take over.
