SIBS signs first UK order

SIBS is proud to announce its first order of modules in the United Kingdom for a project of 245 high quality apartments. The contract for design and delivery of modules is valued at £28m (approx. 360 MSEK).

Production is scheduled to begin in Q4 2025, pending statutory checks and approval for the development issued by the UK Building Safety Regulator for Gateway 2. The order has been signed by SIBS AB’s subsidiary in Malaysia, SIBS Sdn Bhd, for a project managed by Donard Real Estate, a UK and Ireland based residential developer.

The 245 apartments will be located in Basildon, 30 minutes outside of London. Known for its strong connectivity, growing population, and regeneration initiatives, Basildon offers an ideal location for this landmark development. The apartments will be manufactured using SIBS’ advanced modular technology, ensuring high standards of quality, sustainability, and efficiency.
