09:05 AM EDT, 04/27/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Core Scientific (CORZ) is undertaking a multi-tiered strategy to expand its campus in Pecos, Texas, to 1.5 gigawatts of gross power, or about 1.0 gigawatt of leasable power, the company said Monday.

The site, which Core Scientific is transforming into a data center campus, is available for lease, with initial capacity anticipated early next year, the company said.

Further, the company said it has secured an incremental 300 megawatts of gross power capacity with its utility provider.

Core Scientific also said it has come up with a plan to deploy a scalable behind-the-meter solution expected to provide significant additional capacity, and has secured over 200 acres of land to support the expansion.
