06:45 AM EDT, 05/14/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Intel (INTC) has signed a multiyear partnership with McLaren Racing to become the official compute partner across its Formula 1, IndyCar and sim racing teams, the chipmaker said Thursday.

The company will deploy its Xeon and Core Ultra processors to power McLaren's data-heavy operations, including aerodynamic simulations, race strategy analytics, and real-time decision-making systems linking the factory to race tracks, it said.

Intel's technology will support edge computing, predictive modeling, and digital twin simulations, it added.

Branding will appear on McLaren cars starting with the Montreal race, extending to IndyCar events and esports platforms in later seasons, Intel said.
