Sodexo Bags Deal to Manage Rio Tinto's Facilities in Australia

02:20 AM EDT, 05/05/2026 (MT Newswires) -- French food services and facilities management company Sodexo (SW.PA) secured a contract to manage Rio Tinto's facilities in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.
Under the deal, Sodexo will provide facilities management for the mining company's fly-in, fly-out accommodation villages, residential houses, and operational sites, according to a Tuesday release.
The seven-year contract begins in June and can be extended for an additional three years. The deal also covers the maintenance and renovation of certain facilities of Rio Tinto.
