Valmet to Deliver Ash Crystallization Plant for Pulp Mill in Germany

05:52 AM EDT, 05/19/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Valmet (VALMT.HE) secured an order to deliver a new ash crystallization plant for Mercer Stendal's pulp mill in Arneburg, Germany.
The Finnish process technologies company will install a facility with the capacity to process 140 tonnes of ash per day and expand the mill-wide Valmet DNA automation system, according to a Tuesday release. Financial details of the agreement were not disclosed.
The new plant for the unit of US-based Mercer International is scheduled to begin operating in the fourth quarter of 2027.
