11:22 AM EDT, 04/27/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Vestas Wind Systems (VWS.CO) received an order for 186 megawatts worth of wind turbines from French utility EDF Group's subsidiary EDF power solutions North America, according to a Monday release.

The Danish company will supply 28 EnVentus V162-6.2-MW and two EnVentus V162-6.0-MW turbines for the Forêt Domaniale wind project in Québec, Canada. A 10-year active output management 5000 service agreement is included in the deal.

Turbine deliveries will start in the second quarter of 2027, while commissioning is expected in the fourth quarter of the same year.
