Bravida Norway to provide security solutions at the New Aker Hospital for approximately NOK 93 million
Bravida Norway has been awarded an assignment by Helse Sør-Øst RHF to perform the installation of security systems for the New Aker Hospital in Oslo. The new hospital is one of the largest construction projects in Norway this decade.
New Aker Hospital is part of the expansion of Oslo University Hospital, and will provide a modern accident and emergency department, as well as mental and physical healthcare facilities. Bravida’s assignment includes the installation of camera surveillance and access control technology. The project has stringent requirements regarding security, cooperation and precision.
“We are very proud to have been awarded another hospital project. This assignment confirms that Bravida has the expertise, capacity and implementation capability required for the construction of large buildings with key societal functions,” comments Tore Bakke, Head of Division Norway at Bravida.
Karl Otto Jansen, Project Director for New Aker at Sykehusbygg HF, comments:
“We are pleased that Bravida has been awarded the contract and will thereby bring New Aker important experience and expertise from other hospital projects.”
Bravida’s work in the project will start in autumn 2026 and the hospital is scheduled for completion in 2031.
