Energiekontor awarded contracts for four projects with 125 megawatts in the Federal Network Agency’s May tender

Bremen, 8 July 2025 – Energiekontor AG (“Energiekontor”), a leading German project developer and operator of wind and solar parks based in Bremen and listed in the General Standard, has been awarded contracts for four additional wind projects with a total generating capacity of around 125 megawatts in the May tender issued by the Federal Network Agency. The next step is for the projects to reach financial close.

Four Energiekontor wind projects in Lower Saxony and North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, with a total nominal capacity of around 125 megawatts have been awarded contracts in this year’s second tendering procedure for onshore wind by the Federal Network Agency. The Federal Network Agency awarded a total of 372 bids with a total volume of around 3.4 gigawatts. The average volume-weighted award value amounted to 6.83 cents per kilowatt hour.

“We were already awarded contracts for eight wind projects in March 2025. This means that twelve of our wind projects totalling around 317 megawatts have already been awarded contracts by the Federal Network Agency in the first two tender rounds of this year. This is an excellent basis for the further realisation of our mature German projects in the pipeline. The next step is to bring all projects to financial close so that realisation of the projects can begin,” says Peter Szabo, CEO of Energiekontor AG.
