Hedin Mobility Group AB (publ): RN Automotive takes over dealership operations in Haninge and Spånga – strengthens the presence of Renault and Dacia in Sweden

22 september, 10:30

MÖLNDAL/STOCKHOLM, 22 September – RN Automotive AB, a newly established subsidiary of Hedin Caetano AB and sister company of RN Nordic AB, has signed an agreement to take over dealership operations at two facilities in Haninge and Spånga from Hedin Automotive Stockholm. The acquisition marks a strategic step towards further strengthening the position of the Renault and Dacia brands in the Swedish market.

Hedin Caetano AB, jointly owned by Hedin Mobility Group and Salvador Caetano Group, is responsible through its subsidiary RN Nordic AB for the import and distribution of Renault, Dacia and Alpine in Sweden, Norway and Denmark.

Through the acquisition, Hedin Caetano reinforces its local presence in Sweden via its subsidiary RN Automotive, which will operate the two dealership facilities in Haninge and Spånga. RN Automotive will assume full responsibility for operational activities and take over all employees at the sites. The transaction will take effect on 31 October 2025, with RN Automotive commencing dealership operations on 3 November.

By establishing two strategically important hubs in the Stockholm metropolitan area, a dedicated network is created to reinforce the Swedish Renault and Dacia dealership network. The facilities will play a central role in driving growth, increasing sales, and enhancing customer satisfaction by serving as reference sites for the development and testing of future sales, service, and digital solutions.

In parallel, Hedin Automotive Stockholm will relocate other business operations from Haninge, not related to Renault or Dacia, to other facilities within the company.

“The transfer to RN Automotive is an important part of our deepened collaboration with Salvador Caetano Group. This new structure lays the foundation for a more dynamic and flexible development of the three brands in Sweden, with the goal of further enhancing both the brand experience and the customer journey,” says Anders Hedin, CEO and President of Hedin Mobility Group.

“This initiative is a natural extension of our joint mission in the Nordics. By creating our own reference facilities, we gain deeper insights into customer needs, develop new working methods, and contribute with knowledge and inspiration across our entire dealer network. Our independent dealers are and will remain a key pillar of our strategy and local presence,” says Sérgio Ribeiro, Executive Director, Hedin Caetano Group.

The takeover complements RN Nordic’s existing network of independent dealers, which continues to play a vital role in the company’s market strategy in Sweden.
