Cabonline awarded renewed contract by Region Uppsala
Cabonline has signed a new four-year agreement with Region Uppsala, thereby gaining renewed trust to deliver safe, accessible and sustainable mobility services across the region. The contract covers mobility services for the elderly, patient travel, school transport and on-demand public transport in Uppsala, Heby and Enköping.
The agreement runs from November 2026 to November 2030, spanning a continuous four-year period. The services include patient and other regional transport in Uppsala, Heby and Enköping, as well as Uppsala Municipality’s requirements for mobility services for the elderly, national special transport, school transport, and on-demand public transport. The assignment covers both fixed-route vehicles and demand-responsive services.

Cabonline currently operates around 160 vehicles in Uppsala. Considering the increased scope of the upcoming agreement, we see a need to strengthen and expand our current operations in Uppsala to ensure capacity, quality and resilience. The fleet consists of both passenger cars and special vehicles for travellers with specific needs, providing flexibility for different types of assignments and ensuring accessibility across the region.
