Lammhults Design Group strengthens its presence in London through strategic initiative
Lammhults Design is expanding its international presence through a strategic initiative in London, one of Europe’s leading centres for design and architecture. The initiative aims to strengthen the Group’s international visibility, relevance, and business opportunities in this key international market. As part of the initiative, Lammhults Design Group is entering into a strategic partnership with Tarkett UK. Lammhults Design Group will relocate into Tarkett UK’s existing showroom in London, forming the foundation for a shared and integrated platform to engage with architects, clients, and partners in the local market.
“London is a strategically important market for us. By consolidating our presence and collaborating with Tarkett UK, we can strengthen our position and achieve greater impact than we could independently,” says Susanna Hilleskog, CEO of Lammhults Design Group.
Shared platform for greater impact
The collaboration is based on a clear ambition: to maximise impact, reach, and business value through joint initiatives. Rather than operating separate establishments, Tarkett UK’s existing showroom will be developed into an integrated environment where both companies’ offerings interact and mutually reinforce each other. The shared space will be launched during Clerkenwell Design Week on 19–21 May 2026, becoming a key meeting point for the international design and architecture community.
“It is about working smarter and more cohesively. Through a shared platform, we can increase visitor flow while also creating a more relevant and inspiring experience for our target audiences,” says Susanna Hilleskog.
Shared foundation and perspectives
The collaboration between Lammhults Design Group and Tarkett UK is built on a shared foundation where Scandinavian design heritage meets European material innovation, with strong roots in the Nordics. Lammhults Design Group contributes a legacy of functional, timeless, and human-centred design and acoustic solutions that create environments where form and function work in harmony. Tarkett UK brings deep expertise in Human-Conscious Design® and sustainable innovation in flooring and wall solutions, influencing how environments look, feel, and are experienced in practice. Together, the companies demonstrate how spaces are not only designed but experienced as a whole, through the interplay of materials, acoustics, and furniture.
From parallel initiatives to a unified establishment
The initiative represents a consolidation of the Group’s previous presence in London. Earlier separate initiatives are now brought together into a single, stronger and more focused establishment in collaboration with Tarkett UK. The showroom will be designed as a flexible and dynamic environment for work, meetings, and events, where solutions are presented within their architectural and functional context rather than as standalone products. The move reflects a broader shift towards integrated, solution-oriented environments that respond to increasing demands for coherence and functionality.
A long-term platform for international growth
The initiative marks the beginning of a long-term effort to strengthen the Group’s international position. Through an enhanced presence in London and a deepened collaboration with Tarkett UK, new opportunities are created for business, partnerships, and innovation in global markets going forward.
