Peab renovates apartments in Linköping
Peab has been commissioned to carry out an extensive renovation of four apartment buildings with 120 apartments in Linköping. The customer is Stångåstaden AB and the contract is worth SEK 118 million.
The four buildings with a total of 120 apartments, which were built in 1958, will undergo both interior and exterior renovation. The work includes putting in new plumbing, installations, drainage, external water and sewage lines, renovating common spaces and outdoor environments, as well as work on roofs and facades. A photovoltaic system will also be installed.
The apartments will have new finishes, new kitchen and bathroom fittings and upgraded technical installations.
"We thank Stångåstaden for entrusting us with renovating these apartments. This is an important investment for Linköping that we’re proud to contribute to. The project is also important from a sustainability perspective and contributes to strengthening the long-term value and function of the properties," says Magnus Brandt, Region Manager Peab.
The project is a turnkey contract. Work will start in September 2026 and is expected to be completed in February 2029.
The project will be order registered in business area Construction in the second quarter 2026.
