TagMaster, a leading supplier of data solutions and advanced sensor systems for Smart Cities within Traffic and Rail, is participating this week at Intertraffic Amsterdam, the world’s leading trade fair for intelligent transportation technology. At the exhibition, the company’s U.S. subsidiary, Sensys Networks, will demonstrate how their multi-technology detection system contributes to tangible road safety results as part of Vision Zero initiatives around the world.

Intertraffic Amsterdam brings together more than 900 exhibitors and over 30,000 industry professionals from around 145 countries and serves as the global meeting place for the mobility and traffic industry. The event showcases the latest innovations in traffic management, smart mobility, road safety, infrastructure, and parking solutions.

At this year’s fair, Sensys Networks demonstrates how integrated detection systems combining wireless in-road sensors, multi-lane radar, and AI-based video analytics create proactive safety networks for both intersections and highways. The technology enables more reliable detection of vehicles and vulnerable road users, as well as rapid identification of incidents, helping to reduce accidents and improve traffic flow.

”Intertraffic is one of the most important global meeting places for the industry and an excellent opportunity to meet customers, partners, and decision-makers from around the world. It is therefore extremely valuable that we can demonstrate at the exhibition the concrete impact of our multi-technology detection systems. We expect strong interest”, said Jonas Svensson, CEO, TagMaster.

Some examples of the tangible impact of installing TagMaster’s systems include a 31 percent reduction in traffic accidents through coordinated ramp metering at highway on- and off-ramps in the Melbourne region, an 18 percent decrease in injury related accidents in the United Kingdom through dynamic speed limits, and life-saving incident detection in the Vuache Tunnel in eastern France last year, where an AI system detected a stationary truck before a fire could develop.

Sensys Networks’ solutions, which are being showcased at Intertraffic, include systems for intersection detection using video AI and wireless sensors, multi-lane radar for dynamic speed management, and AI-based incident detection. By combining multiple sensor technologies, traffic authorities can choose the most suitable solution for each environment, from dense urban traffic to high-traffic highways.
