Ukraine to restart Russian oil pipeline to Europe "within a few hours"

(Alliance News) - Ukraine will resume shipping Russian oil to Hungary and Slovakia "within a few hours" on Wednesday following the completion of repairs to the Druzhba pipeline damaged by a Russian attack, a Kyiv official told AFP.
Hungarian energy company MOL had requested about 100,000 tonnes of oil be shipped through the pipeline to both countries, the official said, adding transit was scheduled to resume around 1100 GMT.
"I think they'll start it earlier, within a few hours," the official added, speaking on condition of anonymity.
