09:45 AM EDT, 04/20/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Viasat (VSAT) said Monday its ViaSat-3 F3 satellite is scheduled for launch on April 27, aboard a SpaceX Falcon Heavy rocket from NASA's Kennedy Space Center, marking the final satellite in its ViaSat-3 constellation.

The satellite is designed to deliver over 1 terabit per second of throughput across the Asia-Pacific region, expanding Viasat's high-capacity broadband network for commercial, mobility and government customers.

Following launch, it will undergo several months of orbit-raising and in-orbit testing before entering service, expected in late summer of this year.

Shares of Viasat were up 1.2% in Monday trading.
