Byhmgard AB (publ) (“Byhmgard” or the “Company”) has today entered into an agreement regarding an order in Finland, thereby strengthening its presence in the Nordic region. The order relates to a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project for the Finnish company Solarigo Systems Oy, with a total order value of approximately SEK 43 million.
As part of its international expansion, Byhmgard has previously announced its entering into Italy, where the Company is in the process of establishing a subsidiary. The Company has now received an order in Finland for the delivery of a BESS to Solarigo Systems Oy (“Solarigo”) for Solarigo’s Honkisaarenneva solar power plant in Finland. The project comprises the delivery of a complete battery energy storage system with a capacity of 15 MW and 36 MWh.
The order, with a total value of approximately SEK 43 million, confirms Byhmgard’s capability to deliver fully integrated and customized large-scale energy storage solutions in the Nordic market. The BESS is designed to be integrated with Solarigo’s Honkisaarenneva solar power plant, which has an installed capacity of 33.5 MWp.

The scope of the order includes the delivery of a turnkey solution consisting of 12 integrated BESS units and three high-voltage transformers. The facility is designed to contribute to grid stability by providing frequency regulation and frequency restoration services to Fingrid’s 33 kV grid. Delivery and commissioning are planned in accordance with a fast project schedule, with the objective of achieving full grid connection and commercial operation during 2026.
