SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. , July 21, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- America's Most Trusted® Home Builder Taylor Morrison (NYSE: TMHC) today published its seventh annual Sustainability and Belonging Report, highlighting the company's commitment to corporate responsibility through sustainable business operations, a people-centric work culture, and a corporate governance rooted in transparency and accountability.

For the first time, Taylor Morrison conducted a materiality assessment to better understand the respective importance of sustainability-related issues and climate-related risks and opportunities to Company stakeholders. This assessment will inform Taylor Morrison's sustainability strategy and reporting moving forward. Key milestones within the Sustainability and Belonging Report showcasing a transformative corporate responsibility journey include:

  • Greater progress in enhancing the Company's greenhouse gas (GHG) inventory, including the addition of two relevant scope 3 categories, increased data granularity, and more robust value-chain-specific data through vendor engagement and internal data quality initiatives.
  • 47 percent lower average home energy consumption than the Home Energy Rating System (HERS®) new home benchmark, reflecting progress in increasing energy efficiency and reducing operation GHG emissions of Taylor Morrison's homes. Taylor Morrison reported an average home score of 53, compared to 100 for a typical home built to 2006 energy efficiency standards.
  • Strengthening of Taylor Morrison's exclusive partnership with the National Wildlife Federation to safeguard wildlife habitat, promote biodiversity with native plants, and engage homeowners in conservation efforts. Since 2019, Taylor Morrison has established more than 150 Certified Natural Open Spaces™ and protected over 9,200 acres of Certified Wildlife Habitat®.
  • Steadfast focus on construction quality with a heightened emphasis on the climate resiliency of Taylor Morrison homes, which contributed to lower average insurance premiums for homeowners.
  • Leadership in inclusion, belonging and equal opportunity, including a strong focus on ensuring team members are well equipped with training and products to effectively serve the Company's broad consumer base.
  • Inaugural CDP response on the global environmental disclosure platform, reflecting Company action on stakeholder requests for climate-related information.
