08:44 AM EDT, 05/19/2026 (MT Newswires) -- The UK's Office of Financial Sanctions Implementation, or OFSI, said Tuesday it imposed a 165,000 pound-sterling fine on Deutsche Bank's (DBK.F) London branch for breaching regulations involving sanctioned Russian entities.

The OFSI said the branch processed two payments totaling 635,618.75 pounds on behalf of a customer to a beneficiary that is wholly owned by a sanctioned Russian company.

Since Deutsche Bank's London branch voluntarily disclosed the payments, the OSFI said it offered a 45% discount to the fine, trimming the penalty to 165,000 pounds.
