09:19 AM EDT, 04/20/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Kering's (KER.PA) chief executive officer "seems most focused"on optimizing the French luxury goods group's operations and cost efficiency as part of a new strategy, Bernstein said Monday, following Kering's "intense"capital markets day.

"Management seems intent on first of all stemming losses, cutting costs and beefing up the bottom line. This compounds the brilliant actions that [CEO] Luca De Meo has triggered to rescue the balance sheet and reduce debt exposure. This will guarantee good cash flow and dividends for shareholders,"according to the research firm. "We continue to value Kering on a target 1.70x relative P/E multiple to the MSCI Europe, equivalent to a 21.5x NTM+1 P/E (just above Kering's 10Y average)."

The stock has a market-perform rating and a 220 euros price target.
