Brookfield's Portfolio Company Offers SEK878 Million to Buy Nilörngruppen

01:37 AM EDT, 05/04/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Brookfield Asset Management portfolio company Trimco Group is offering 77 kronor per share in cash to buy Swedish branding and design company Nilörngruppen (NIL-B.ST).
The offer, made through Trimco Group (UK), values the target company at 878 million kronor, according to a Monday release. It will cover series A and B shares of Nilörngruppen, with settlement expected to begin July 22.
The target's directors unanimously recommended accepting the offer in the absence of a superior proposal. Nilörngruppen shareholders, including the largest, AB Traction, also committed to accepting the offer.
Completion of the offer is subject to the acceptance of shareholders representing more than 90% of the target's total outstanding shares, as well as regulatory approvals.
